Remote learning experience design

Since COVID19 outbroke, people's lifestyle was greatly influenced. People stay more at home, and have remote conferences as long as courses. At this time, product designs can be updated to meet more intensive user requirements.
Our gourd of three design this research to facilitate improvement and innovation of remote learning mainly for higher education students.

1.7 billion

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of 1.725 billion students worldwide were affected by the closure of schools and higher education institutions. According to UNESCO monitoring reports, 192 countries have implemented nationwide school closures, affecting approximately 99 percent of students worldwide.

Research methods

Different groups of people including professors and students are included in all the researches to collect both of their opinions on remote learning.

Interview can expose more problems of digital learning experience.

Photo study

Collecting students' environment of study to get inspiration on innovation.

Summarizing all the information and get highlights on most relevant topics for analysis.

Resources

Students under remote learning method don't have access to studios that are on campus, they want to find an alternative to it.

Interaction

According to our research, students have lots of setback in cooperation with peers and do after class activities with them.

Lose attention

Students and professors all report students are losing attention in class, and they feel not motivated enough in completing tasks assigned by professors.

Recording is a powerful tool

Considered students requirement to record and download materials for class, I design this page to compile all the files into one folder, and it's convenient since students can save materials in cloud.
